I want to get this bike and i saw it at my local pep boys auto parts store and it looked solidly build and is the bike reliable? I always take good care of my engines like changing the oil, sparkplug so this thing should last right?

  1. nothing baja makes is a good bike.

  2. It has a very "grabby" clutch, so it doesn't really have a low speed.  You can replace the clutch with a torque converter and turn it into a very friendly ride. Comets TAV 30 works great, but requires someone with a bit of mechanical ability to install.  It needs some altering of the mounting plate to make it fit.

Unless you have a lot of nice straight-aways, or add the torque converter, I'd say it's better off on the trails than a backyard.

By the way... the engine is a Chinese copy of a Honda GX200, the parts do fit.
