psalmo 23 A Psalm. Of David.> The Lord takes care of me as his sheep; I will not be without any good thing.

He makes a resting-place for me in the green fields: he is my guide by the quiet waters.

He gives new life to my soul: he is my guide in the ways of righteousness because of his name.

Yes, though I go through the valley of deep shade, I will have no fear of evil; for you are with me, your rod and your support are my comfort.

You make ready a table for me in front of my haters: you put oil on my head; my cup is overflowing.

Truly, blessing and mercy will be with me all the days of my life; and I will have a place in the house of the Lord all my days.

the Bible failed!

  1. The LORD, your GOD has a long tradition of raining down all manner of suffering on the Jewish people whenever they stray from HIS path.

Many Orthodox Jews believe the n***s were a punishment and warning to Secular Jews.

Always remember Yahweh has a big bag of whoop @ss and that he loves you.

  2. If you go back and read about David's life, you will find that before he wrote this Psalms, his own king was hunting him like a wild animal.  His son died in infancy.  He was in a lot of wars (mostly hand to hand).

This Psalms doesn't say that bad things don't happen.  It says that if God is there, everything is OK no matter how bad it gets.

  3. no...you are inferring Davids prayer as a promise to the Jews...it is not...

add on...just because David said this prayer doesn't mean we can't pray the same thing for us...

  4. God protected His people during this terrible time. And it was the holocaust that led to the re-emergence of Israel as a nation less than a decade later. I'd say that God did take care of His people just like He said He would. God never promised that life would be easy or that terrible things wouldn't happen on earth. But He does promise that He will always love each of us and that He would grant eternal life to those who recognize their need for a savior - Jesus Christ.

  5. He will comfort you and be with you. but if you read the bible the Jews his own people did not received him,and they think that the Messiah has not yet come,so im guessing thats why he lets this happen. and they still dont want to believe. so Jews put this on thierself. God wants you to seek him go to him if you dont want to than he will not go to you.

  6. Remember that the Bible is full of instances of some country taking over another and enslaving people, people being murder and other bad things.  Notice however, that most of the bad actions are committed by the hands of man and not by the hands of God.  The last line does say "I will have a place in the house of the Lord all my days".  Maybe every day is not on this earth.
