Is the Blackberry Pearl confusing to use??

hey! i need to get a new phone. i went to verizon today & looked at the blackberry pearl! it has a little rolling ball in the middle to move around- does that break easily? my mom thought it would!

i'm 15 by the way & i'm pretty good with technology and keyboards.

is the keyboard confusing to learn?

oh& is it to hard to get around& can you delete applications&add ones! the one i saw had WAYYY to many applications [like settings,tools, ect.] so it kinda was confusing, but i only used it for about 4 minutes! lol

After a few days you will get used to it. Typing is hard at first but the more practice you have, the easier it will become. You can always hide any icons you dont want to see and un-hide them later.

As with any phone, if you take care if it the trackball will not break.

If you are rough with phones, I wouldn't recommend buying one.
