Is the Blackjack 2 a good phone for....?

Is a Blackjack 2 good for younger kids around the age of 12 or 13? When you tell me your answer, please give me you explanation. Thanks!

No.  Far too many features, really needs a $30/month data plan to do the more useful things that you'd get such a phone for.  Oh, and it runs Windows Mobile.  Think about how your PC gets slow and crashes.  Imagine that in your pocket.

I had a BJ2 for a few days.  I actually had 2 during that time, since the first one was dead on arrival.  The 2nd one wasn't much better.

A 12 year old doesn't really need much in the way of a phone, if at all.  Save your $$ and get something more cost effective.
