Is the Bordaux saddle brand a good brand?

I am looking for a saddle and I found a Bordaux[sp?] saddle for cheap. Is it a good brand and are the saddles comfy?

  1. not really, they have balsa wood trees that can warp and are made out of cheep india leather.  I stay away from it if it is used and only buy it for a extra/ occasional use thing if it is new.  save some more up and buy a better quality used saddle,  its really a safety issue

Rouge seemed to know more about that saddle than I did, BUT I would have added, you didn't post a price that they wanted for it, but IF it were made in India or Argentina, I'd say save your money and go look on ebay for an all purpose, made in europe saddle.  The reasons are that typically they don't hold up over heavy use and NEVER hold their value if you have to resell them.

  3. No, It is a poor quality saddle.

    You would do better by checking out EBay. You can find a GOOD, pre-owned saddle for that price. Look for English, French, German or Swiss made saddles.  

  4. well if going to do english i suggust windtex, i use them for lessons so deos my riding instruter.
