Who else thinks the British Government are failing the British Public?......

First they blame parents for problems in Schools. Then they blame parents for anti social behaviour of there children and now they are trying to make parents take responsibility for there children carrying knives.??

Who else thought taking corporal punishment out of schools has led to a rise in anti social behaviour within. Who else thinks taking parental chastisement away hasnt led to a rise in disrespect and lawlesness in our society and who else thinks blaming parents for there children carrying knives is just a cop out......Well I do!!

There is only one group of people in our British Society responsible for all this....The British Government...FULL STOP.

If the British Government does NOT change its attitude and impliment new strategies in dealing with our young from a very early age, they will be guilty of allowing in the next decade, an ever increasing Lawless British Society, with full jails.

  1. british parents are responsible for their children. blaming the government, much as i dislike the present government , is wrong. every parent should  discipline their own children. the child should be taught that mum  and dad is the boss. parents allow their children to eat whatever junk they want. the parents allow the child to do whatever it wants.  parents allow their children to roam the streets with knives . that is wrong and that is parental negligence . no government ever told me how to discipline my two children. if they were naughty ,they were slapped or sent to bed. if they were good they were rewarded with mums love and attention. thats not too hard is it?

  2. I especially looked at your question in order to find fault with what you are saying but,I have to admit that you have just about hit the nail on the head.

Successive governments have slowly removed any form of chastisement of our children to the extent that parents are now afraid of their own children. The moment discipline is mentioned Social Services are on the case, and the government know this and blame the parents to take the blame off of themselves.

  3. Totally agree. They tell us that both parents must work and then expect us to know where our children are at all times.

Their the ones that took away our family valves, split neibourhoods up. Telling us to work were ever we can get it. Now we look out for ourselves only.

They expect us to pay for child care then blame us if we can't afford it, even if we're working all the hours god sends.

They expect us to earn more then impliement a min wage that isn't fit for the purpose.

Then they say its our fault for being poor.

  4. new labour does not know what a Representative Democracy is - so no they do not represent the average British resident.

  5. Yes!!

  6. No, the goverment isnt failing its citizens.

I agree that parents SHOULD take responcibility for their childrens upbringing.

Why should it be the goverment that has to deal with kids running riot?

At a young age, childrens should be taught to respect others, this isnt really something that can be forced upon people.

You believe that parents should spit out children, and then leave them to their own devices, thus running into trouble with the law, and causing problems.

Goverment action to bring up children will also cost tax-payers even more.

  7. Why dont they take the logical step and jail anyone carrying a knife for no good reason.

They want to blame everyone except the ones who are carrying them.

  8. Simple; capital punishment.

  9. Your spot-on...This Government, simply does not govern.Their a complete joke. Blameing parents & schools is an easy get out..Tell me if i am wrong, but it seems they only punish Hard working people & Motorists. All kids carrying knifes should be dealt with by the police, if they can bare to put  there speed cameras down

  10. And now it's racist for little kids to say "yuk" when they don't like spicy food.

  11. amen to that... my son is 15 & luckily a great kid & the one thing i have instilled in him is respect which there is a total lack of in my opinion... bury the human rights law.. ive always said that if the schools ran a poll to bring back basics i for one would be signing..    BUT  not all kids are bad, its finding a balance.

  12. i agree with most of what you say, thanks to our so called government no one can punbish the children anywhere, at school or at home. i think a complete reversal is required on punishment at home and in school. for the re offenders who leave school without a job, i think the armed forces will sort them out with some discipline as well as a job, so bring back conscription......
