Is the Brookstone Mighty max tower fan really quiet like advertised??

We are interested in purchasing these for an office/conference area and are very much in need of a genuinely quiet fan. Any other suggestions are welcome.

not exactly, but the sharper image stores are closing down and we just bought one for $20!!!!!!!  so u might wannna check 1 out

never had one, but  go to store and ask to see one running that is only way to see how quite it is. if ordering from cat.

when you get it turn it on and if it is not quite enough, send it back.
