Is the Canadian Air Cadet program useful on my university application?

I've just joined it and I want to make sure it is useful. If you think it is not, please recommend one that is.

Absolutely! Universities and colleges look for students who are involved in extracurricular activities, and things that occour outside of school. This program would really put you high in their books, because not only does it count as after-school activities, it also lets them know that you have leaderships skills, and special training in everyday things that will come in handy. It'll also show that you can work as a team. I think that it would definitely be something to include on your university/college application for sure!
