  1. they have both

  2. We've actually been on 6 Carnival Cruises.. including 3 with our small daughter.  (Including an 8 day cruise when she was 3 years old)....On each of the cruises, the staff was INCREDIBLE with our child.  They went above and beyond to make sure our daughter had a good time.   The housekeepers left cookies on her pillow at night... they made extra towel animals for our room to make it look like a little zoo for her.

The Camp Carnival playroom was safe, and fun,  and my daughter actually WANTED TO BE THERE.... she gave us a hard time when we came to pick her up!!     They dressed the kids up like little pirates, and marched them around the ship looking for buried treasures... they had play time, and craft making time, and the kids even had dinner time together... with special "Kid Meals" from the kitchen.  My daughter loved eating and having ice cream sundaes with her little friends.

If you were thinking of taking your kids on a cruise.. I think we've found it's a great way to travel with your children.. Everybody has a good time, and they have a GREAT staff who's job is to make sure that your children are having fun and being safe!

  3. children and families

but you'll undoubtedly have fun either way

  4. Look into the specific ship details & it will show you all the activities & programs it has aboard. Most ships are all oriented for children according to ages. We went on a cruise last March which there were very few kids & my 4 Year Old Grandson & almost 3 Grandaughter had a ball & were center of attraction thruout the cruise. The crew had them on stage several times & they had a ball. On most ships in the Under 3 age is limited, the child is mainly in your care unless you opt for a babysitter on board which is mainly a member of the crew!!!

  5. My family has cruised with Carnival.  I have 4 children - only 3 of the children went on the carnival cruise with us, and there was a cabin large enough to accomodate the 5 of us and all of our things with room to move around even.....

Club Carnival is great for the children - there are activities for all age groups..... with just the right amout of supervision for the age of the children.

The pools on the ships also have slides - which were a great treat for my children.

Reference my family's travel  website for a complete review of our carnival cruise....

  6. Carnival does have the fun ships and that is definitely true. They are one of the more popular ships for families.

Personally, I don't know if I would want to take my own children on this line. The cleanliness of some of the ships can be questionable, the rooms are smoking, people smoke just about everywhere on the ship, there is a casino, there is a lot of drinking and you always see people stubmling around that have had a little too much to drink.

If you don't mind this, then it is a pretty good line for kids. I still think that Disney is a lot better with the kids programs and is a little more kid friendly. I personally like Royal Caribbean better for families than Carnival.

I think it is just a matter of personal preference. I would look at some reviews at different sites. Also, if you are looking for a more adult friendly line, this does offer a lot of stuff for adults, but there is always a lot of kids and young adults. If you are looking for a ship with fewer kids, this is probably not the best choice.

  7. My children didn't like Carnival.  The kid's play rooms are small and crowded.  They absolutely love Disney cruises!

  8. Just came off a cruise with carnival a week ago and was told that they rank #1 in children activities and believe it or not Disney ranked #4.

  9. Carnival is very accommodating to families.

The younger kiddos enjoy Camp Carnival and the older ones like the teen disco.

The 24-hour pizzeria is a huge hit with my pre-teen.  She literally ate pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner 5 days straight!

The dining room provides the young ones with a kid menu and the wait staff is very accustomed to serving children.

There is a putt putt golf course on the Ecstasy plus a pool with a big slide.

They always warn the guests if a certain show is adult humor.

If your traveling with a family, you will enjoy Carnival.  If you are an adult traveling without kids and want peace and quite, try another line.

  10. I've been on a Carnival Cruise - its cheap for a reason.  Saw alot of kids, but also saw alot of drunks...

  11. It's made for children and families. Check out their website for more information: http://carnival.com/. Carnival Cruises also has the motto of "The Fun Ships" so it sounds like it has plenty to do with kids and families.

  12. Carnival, the fun ship, is very family oriented.  Even the waiters entertain you.

  13. It is for both but have a lot off thinks for kids and a lot for adult

  14. the c.cruise is open for children and families....
