I have been researching the pageant, the company that runs that pageant, the people involved with running the pageant, and past winners, all to no avail. I recently received the letter in the mail inviting me to the Information Session. I went to the session and was interviewed. I have never participated in a pageant before, but I hear that sometimes the winner doesn't even get her prize money, or that no money or prizes were awarded to any girl at all. I have heard that the prizes are so small that the fees to participate aren't even covered. The supposed modeling contract for Miss Photogenic is with John Casablancas, a known s*x offender of young girls. And this pageant is for girls aged 7-19. So far as I have found, he has no licensed modeling agency. He gets people to take his classes, has them sign a contract, and then the clients get blown off. Some prize, huh? Who would entrust their kids to perverts, or people who encourage perverts? I invite others to comment.

  1. Well you said yourself the guy is a Known s*x offender why risk it??

  2. After you reread your own question, the answer should be obvious.

These pageant companies are profit making companies.  If they gave away a lot in prizes, they wouldn't make any money.  Remember, it costs them to put on the pageant and stage the free information sessions and send off all the mailings.  After these costs and their profit, how much do you really think is available or prizes?

  3. Don't bother sounds like a scam
