  2. I guess Clinton's paying down on the deficit caused this. It was Reagan that started using social security to offset the deficit.

  4. The Clinton recession, if it actually did start during his term, ended in 2003.

  5. Well, according the bush apologists we are not officially in a recession...

    But once Obama is elected the right will state that we are in a recession and that it is completley his fault.  It is a commonly believed faith by some that no economic good can come when we have a democratic president.  Or did you not get the memo
