Is the Colorsplash Flash compatible with the Canon 400d Xti?

I have searched online for answers but they said that it works. I can't seem to get it to work with my Canon Rebel Xti. Do any of you know how?

No, I highly doubt that it would match up with the hot shoe on you Canon camera. If it doesn't have the contacts in the same spot there is no way it would work. Even if it does I wouldn't use it. If the current is not the same you could damage your camera. Unless you find something that specifically says that it will mount to the hot shoe of a Canon XTi your out of luck.

If you want to try this flash out buy a Lomo camera. They only cost about $50.

You can try taping colored pieces of celophane to your Canons flash to achieve the same effect.
