Kosuke Fukudome and his Rapidly Shrinking Batting Average could hurt the Cubs in the stretch drive. Not only is he hitting a meager .212 (with a .309 OBP and .302 SLG) on the road, his overall average has declined each month since April. Do the Cubs need to acquire a money player (Matt Holliday, perhaps?) before the deadline to replace Fukudome or will he regain his stroke in time to help the Cubs win their first World Series in 100 years?
