from experience panasonic's arent that great

i'd go sony cybershot or canon

their colour quality is amazing

The Panasonic Lumix are great cameras, mostly because they have a Leica lens. I don't think many people don't fully appreciate how lenses effect the picture quality. Leica is like the Rolls Royce of camera lenses.

The Lumix is also small with a large screen.
