Is the DTV switch going to effect me if...?

Question

I already have Comcast digital cable, but I only have the box in my living room. Is that going to effect the TV in my bedroom. I mean it's still Comcast, but there's no box.

I am not completely sure about this, but if you only have one box, I think that what ever you watch in the living room is what is going to be playing in the bedroom. (That is how it used to be.) I had to get two boxes if I wanted to watch something in one room and someone else wanted to watch something different in another room.
