Is the DVDR3577H/05 DVD recorder multi regional?

I need to know if this DVD recorder can play multi regional DVD's and does anyone know if Phillips do decent surround sound systems??

If not, who does?

  1. DVDR3577H Multiregion HDMI DVD Recorder/Hard Drive Recorder with 160GB Drive. The DVDR3577H/05 is not multi region. Here's a link to the 05.

    No they don't make a decent surround system.
