Is the Dcr-Sr200 a good camera?

I wanted a camera that has good quality not like professional or anything like that just good as in mini movie prodjects and stuff.

I am into that kind of stuff, too. I have the HandyCam model below that and we make good enough commercial productions using it to sell them as advertisements on web shows for $650 a pop.

So, I'd say, the DCR-SR200 is probably definitely good enough quality for what you wanna use it for. We shoot A LOT indoors and it's AWESOME, and of course it's awesome outdoors, too.

If you hear anyone complaining about theirs - I'd say it's the user, not the equipment. If you can afford it - DO IT. I've used HandyCams for years.
