First I want to know if it's legit. And if any of you have been represented my Maddox, does it cost money to be represented? Or do they only charge you when you book a job? And if they do charge you alot just to join do you know of any good casting agencies in AZ that only charge when you book a job?

Thanks soooooooooooooo MUCH!

  1. They are a licensed agency.  However (from the SAG website):

The granting of a franchise by SAG does not in any manner, directly or indirectly, constitute a guarantee, warranty or representation as to an agent’s ability or quality, or the conduct of the agent toward a performer. The SAG franchise does not indicate whether complaints have been filed with SAG against the agent or agency.

I didn't find any complaints about her on the Better Business Bureau site.

An agency makes its money by taking a percentage of your income from a job they booked you for.  I note on the "Babies" page that they charge up to 20%, which is ridiculous.  An agent should not charge more than 15% without very good reason.

  2. never heard of her, which doesn't mean she is not legit, but i think you should ask Deborah these questions.

an agent should get 10%-15% of whatever pay you earn from the jobs they find you, no more.

also contact your local film board.

  3. Ask your actor friends.
