I am not the healthiest person in the world, but I have noticed this "tips and advice" trend in the diet/fitness section.

You can pretty much answer one of these to ANY of the questions:

"You need to eat more." "Your body is not getting enough" "blah blha this is why you are so severely underweight" "no you will not gain weight" "yes it is safe to exercise that much"

Anyone else notice this?

  1. Diet/fitness seems to attract questions that beg for that kind of answer. In many cases it's quite appropriate but I understand it gets frustrating seeing the same thing repeated over and over when different members give the same or similar answers to a question. All we can hope is that the answers are correct and that the asker heeds the fact that there are so many people of the same opinion.

Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to tell when someone is mocking a condition, concerned about themselves or a friend or actually needs an intervention like someone severely over/underweight.
