Is the Doulo (the christian missionary ship) really only a few years younger than the Titanic?

How has it survived so long? If I'm interested to work onboard, is it compulsory to be of the Protestant faith? I'm Catholic.

  1. A ship that old only survives through extreme TLC, and she probably was never out of service for very long. Yes she is old, built in 1914. You can see a little of her history here: http://www.omships.org/index.php?option=...

    No idea what the qualifications are to sail on her... but it's called the "Duolos"
