Is the E Chipper Club legal in PGA play?

My son has an E Club. My husband gave it to him. He says it is a chipper but, it doesn't say it anywhere on the club. Some of my son's friends won't let him use it when they play saying it is illegal. Does anyone know anything about this? Can he use this club? He says it knocks around 5 points per round off his score.

It looks like it's legal to me...... check this and print it out so he can take it to the course with him.

Not sure what an E Chipper is. There is a rule which applies to chippers and is an expansion of Rule 4-1 Decisions on the  Rules of Golf 4-l/3 ( 4) which says" the clubhead must be generally plain in shape and have only one striking face." If the club can be used either left handed or right handed, it is illegal.
