This is not indicative of the current administration, but has been going on for a long while. Seems like it's used as a toy, to benefit any political agenda. From my own experience, I don't see see them as a true regulatory power. Whats to make a International body any different?

  1. It sounds quite possible.  LIke the IPCC, they answer to the whims of their masters to ensure further funding.  They can make up data as needed, true or false, and have it peer approved by their friends.

  2. These people don't think global warming is a political agenda, but rather, science.

"Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich challenged fellow conservatives to stop resisting scientific evidence of global warming"

"National Review (the most prestigious conservative magazine) published a cover story calling on conservatives to shake off denial and get into the climate policy debate"

"Pat Robertson (very conservative Christian leader) 'It is getting hotter and the ice caps are melting and there is a build up of carbon dioxide in the air.  We really need to do something on fossil fuels.”

"I believe there is now more than enough evidence of climate change to warrant an immediate and comprehensive - but considered - response. Anyone who disagrees is, in my view, still in denial."

Ford Motor Company CEO William Clay Ford, Jr.

"The science of global warming is clear. We know enough to act now. We must act now."

James Rogers, CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.

EVERY major scientific organization has issued an official statement that this is real, and mostly caused by us.  The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Association, etc.

  3. They do very little besides propaganda.  Look at how they changed fuel economy ratings for 2008 out of the blue - every car is suddenly 10% less efficient as it used to be.  I know mine is still the same.  Anyway, this has now lead to higher prices at the pump by driving higher demand forecasts.  Just one way they're manipulating us.
