Is the Earth cooling?

I thought it was warming. Now I am confused.

No.  This is just a colder winter than average, which happens, even with global warming.

This graph shows what's going on.  Individual years may be warmer or colder than average, but the average keeps moving up.  That's global warming.

Of course the Earth is cooling and has been cooling for millions of years!  What the Alarmists don't seem to know = the core is about 9000 degrees and we also get warming from within the Earth through the 'crust' - eg. venting, geothermal, undersea vents and big volcanoes that are still venting gases even thousands of years after eruptions.

The 'crust' is very thin under the oceans and the heat released has far more impact than scientists understand.  

The oceans lithosphere is only about 3 miles thick in places - which is virtually paper thin in comparison to the Earth's diameter.

I dont even pay attention to all that stuff anyway because it doesnt matter. The fact is we are messing with the Earth. Even if global warming wasnt an issue, I would still say take care of the Earth. Its ours, only ours, and we treat it like c**p! Thats like buying $600 stilletos and walking with them in the mud! Whats the point in ruining the stuff you own? The Earth is priceless and we need to take care of it whether global warming exists or not! Anyway harmful chemicals from factories give us cancer, and uranium depletion from all the war is messing with our genes. Pretty soon we are all going to be dysfunctional mutants! Global warming should not be the only reason we should take care of our Earth.

Actually, NO! What they are showing you is US data only. The global data is attached, which you will notice looks different. Try not to get confused. When you see something like that, notice whether they state US temperatures or global. We are concerned about global after all. Just because it's cool in parts of the US doesn't mean it's cool all over the world.

You will a wide variety of opinions here, some use statistics to back their claims.  I would suggest you read and study both sides of the issue and draw your own conclusions that would be the common sense approach.

I think most of the global warming followers are lemmings they say that CO2 emission is the reason why 97% of CO2 comes from nature that leaves the other 3% from us. So try and follow their logic our 3% is going destroy the earth pleeeease.
