Is the Eastern Shovelhead a good street bmx bike?

im NOT a beginner and im around 5'5 and going to be grinding and street tricks

my buddy has one and its an alright bike.  he had some trouble with the rear hub coming loose and the bottom bracket or cranks or something.  if you want to spend that much, look at a stolen or kink.
