  1. It's not the best.  The best would be a Gibson Les Paul or equivalent guitar from Fender or PRS. The Epi is probably good enough, however.

  2. its ok. but if i were you save up and buy the epiphone les paul standard.

  3. They aren't as high quality as the Gibson Les Paul, but they are still very good.  It's more than just a beginner's guitar.  If the price is right and you have the money, I don't think you'll regret getting one.

  4. Get A PRS Singlecut SE, they are very good guitars, i have one and the pickups work amzingly, this or a Dean ML, depending on what style of music you play

  5. well my friend has it. and my whole thing with it is the lack a decent pickups. its very muddy on most settings...and with les pauls i have always found the string had allotta fight....and a very thick neck may not be so great if you a begginner. The fretboard is very cheap and bugetty. so what i would recommend is a guitar that can grow with you. like a mim fender strat or tele standard. that can be with you for a  long time. and if your sounds changes change the pickups. just dont go with the cheapest. a standard mim tele was my first guitar and i have NEVER regretted dropping 400 on it...get a roland 15 watt cube combo and you'll be set for a bit. probably will just need a new amp when you get alot better. hope this helps
