I love the 357 sig round, and was looking for a good pistol that chambers it. I love the look of the FNP-357, but I haven't heard much about it from others. What are your thoughts on this gun?

  1. its probley a good gun as guns go but your going to have problems getting the ammo in your local gun shop

  2. Yes it is, I would like to have one.The 357 Sig is a good powerful round.

  3. FN produces quality firearms.  I'm not familiar with that particular model but I do own an FN FAL and an FN-Hestal 5.7mm and they are both top-of-the-line.

I also own a Glock Model 31 in .357 Sig.  It is a great cartridge and the Glock is a superb handgun but I'm not positive that the .357 Sig is up to .357 Magnum stopping power.  You do have more rounds and less recoil with the .357 Sig but you also have more flash and muzzle blast than with the older revolver round fired out of a 4" barrel.

    So there you have it.
