But yea, the fade away has to be the toughest shot to defend.  All of these people before me thinks we are still in the 90's.....who shoots skyhooks anymore guys.... If anyone started to consistently make skyhooks, then yea i would give it the edge.

but since the fade away is what you see 10+ times a game, you can probably bet that it is the toughest shot to defend :P....that and the dunks :P

The fade away could definitely be the hardest shot to defend.  It all depends on the defender nd how far back the shooter fades.  Same applies with the hook shot(the defender and the length of the arms)

Mostly depended on defenders arm length

Well, if someone was taking the fadeaway, then that meant he was defended pretty well before the shot.

But possibly it is the shot that is hard to defend, but the shot itself is a tough shot to make.

The hardest shot to defend overall is the dunk.

The sky hook and the fadeaway are basically the same shot.  You are using your body to provide seperation between the defender and the ball.  They actually aren't that hard to defend if you focus on obstructing the view of your defender vice going for the block which most people do.

It depended on the offensive player ...if the guy is good ...there is NOthing u do about it....i mean let alone fading is hard to when the guy in your face....

But u always can put ur han in face....

so i would say its toughest to defend...

fadeaway isnt hard to defend. I play varsity basketball, and i time my jump correctly. plus i got long arms.

Sky hook would be the hardest but no1 ever does a sky hook.

No. It's when you're eating another guys nuts as he dunks over you.

if youre the same height then i would say the sky hook.

you can fade all you want, but if you cant jump youre going to get blocked or throw up a horrible shot.

unless you cna jump and hang like jordan, the sky hook will be the tougher shot to defend.
