Is the Federal Government honest with its people?

the federal gov't is in no way honest with its people.  i don't know what the rest of the question means, but i'm going to say yes because our gov't is still so much better then everyone else's

No, of course it isn't.

It's funny how most people who answer this question no turn right around and MOCK those of us who don't believe the government's "official version" of 9/11.   Saying things like "How can you say that?"

a govt that is honest with it's people, get real. never happen in this lifetime, i am leftist but i don't really support the federal system but it's all we have got at present.

No, it isn't.  And I would say that in general, yes, supporting any republican or democrat for federal office who supports maintaining a hyper-constitutional federal government, or further expanding it does make you a supporter of a large federal government.   If you don't agree with a candidate, regardless of party, I say don't be a part of granting them power over you and the people you love.  One of my favorite quotes, which I don't completely remember, and can't attribute anymore goes something like, "Never support any expansion of government power unless you would be comfortable giving it to your worst enemy."
