Is the Flip Ultra a good digital camcorder to get?

i like how it justs plug into the computer with out all these extra cords and stuff. I lke the cheap price.

The thing i don't like is it can only take 60 minutes worth of video and you can't add an additional memory card.

Well, if you are just into making short home videos or youtube videos, or making short videos with friends, flip video is great.  But if you are wanting to do a little more, you are going to need better camera.

And minidv tapes can only record 60 minutes of video in standard mode.  You either have to switch tapes, upload to the computer, or switch to a lower quality mode.
