We all know the hurricane is over, yet Bush will still only address his party's convention via satellite-- and only for 8 minutes. d**k Cheney has been eliminated from the program entirely.

Is this a sign of how embarrassed and disgraced the GOP is to be associated with these two men?

  1. nope.  to be fair, i'd be embarrassed to be a member of either of those jokes.

  2. Most of them think he can do no wrong.

    I see different...

  3. It's a sign of practicality. McCain needs Bush/Cheney connections like the plague. Now that he has selected a conservative VP candidate he doesn't need B/C at all.

  4. The GOP ashamed?  No.

Do they know that the majority of American people are ashamed of it?  They sure do!

  5. The ostensible reason is the hurricane, but most Republicans are happy to have Bush only virtually present. And listen to how often they try to disassociate themselves from Bush.
