Is the German visa renewable?

I was adopted by my aunt who lived in Germany, and I lived there for 2 yrs. I was about to have my German citizen then, but refused it and went back to the Philippines. Is there anything i could do to renew my visa? Because I'm planning to go back their.

I don't know what the first thing to do? If i will renew my visa again, what requirements and first step i should do?

Thank you very much...

Sincerely yours,

Daniela

  1. If you are talking about renewing your efforts for German citizenship, you should know that their immigration laws are very strict.  If you wish only to return to Germany on a short-term visit visa, then you will simply need to apply for a Schengen visa.  Either way, you will need to contact the German Embassy Manila:

  2. Daniela, I am not sure what visa you are talking about. Do you mean permanent residency? I say this because you say you refused citizenship then. Are you saying that you want to live in Germany again? If so, then gather all your papers and make an appointment at the link below. Do you know how hard it is to become a German citizen today? They require 8 years of residency aside from a whole gamut of things.**
