Is the Ghawar oil field in Saudi Arabia really drying up??

It's a huge deposit. Anyone read 'Twilight in the Desert'? Do you think Saudi will run dry 2030 - then what? Oil sands, shale etc will mostly be ramping up I think, also we have the Arctic ocean as well.

  1. All fields, no matter how large, are finite, and we

    continue to drain them.

It is prudent to start planning for a 'no-oil' situuation,

    because it IS coming.

Shale, sand,  and the Arctic deposits are not projected to be

as large, and will be harder to access than the current fields.
