when a male wants to keep a female in line, they first taunt her and abuse her name, to kill her self esteem. if that doesnt work they ignore her hoping it'll kill her confidence and that she'll submissively just go away.

Nothing to do with s*x, just the way things always have been and will continue to be. If Hillary was in the lead, she would do the same.

I don't think they are afraid of Hillary-they despise her for trying and succeeding in their playing field so well. Obviously the media pundits don't like dealing with female politicians who are at the top of the food chain-they're doing everything they can to drag her and Pelosi down. I know they don't think much of some of the male politicians-but the viciousness displayed towards these women is extraordinary. I don't see Laura Bush treated the way Hillary Clinton was by the press...nor is Cindy McCain treated like Michelle Obama is.

even if you think Hilary is inept, it is unfair how the media has treated her, the insults that have been thrown at her and the questions she has had to answer. she has NOT been treated fairly, or the same as Obama, McCain or any other male candidate. most people list superficial reasons for not liking her, not her policies.
