expensive horse and first time starter is alway getting my money. I have lost many races with expensive horse and first time starter. This horse must be winning because he is a 16 million dollars horse.

The Green Monkey was being pushed along the whole race, started to make a move on the turn but struggled just to hold on to third through the stretch.

JR is Pletcher's #1 rider, so Gomez knows he doesn't get first call.  Both always ride their horses to their best anyway.  But Gomez may be in a pickle if JR's injuries keep him from riding, if he's already committed to his horse.

I was under the impression he was going to start last week-end, and that was a no show. Of course Pletcher knows where and when to place a horse, so he may have opted for this race instead.

Just for the sake of racing, I'll give you 8/1 odds...LOL!
