Is the Hendaye Cross available for public viewing?

Thanks for this info.  I've never heard of it before either, but am now interested and on my next visit to France will try and go to see it.

Have just spent 3 hrs. on internet researching.

Of course, why would they hide it? The locals don't even notice it and don't know about the whole esoteric stuff that only caught on in English-speaking countries. I have been to Hendaye and had never heard of the cross until today.

It is located on the town square outside the Saint-Vincent church, right in the middle of the town, where the outdoor market is held every Wednesday.

Wow, I change trains at Hendaye each year on my way to and from Spain.  Will have to take time to look at the cross next time.
