  1. The Provisional Irish Republican Army(P.I.R.A.) are mostly Catholic, but have had many Protestant members, such as George Plant, Jack White, George Gilmore and Erskine Childers.
    Wolfe Tone, the father of Irish Republicanism was a Protestant.
    P.I.R.A. are against sectarianism, and Billy Smith, Rex Thompson, and John Graham commanded P.I.R.A. in Belfast, and were known as the "Prod Squad".
    Also, the Irish National Liberization Organisation(I.N.L.A.) was founded by Ronnie Bunting, a Protestant who's father was Major Bunting of the British Army, and Ronnie's father despised P.I.R.A.
