  1. Actually for the most part they are on schedule or a few days ahead.

  2. Actually they are ahead of schedule.  The problem is that most folks don't really know when they're supposed to get theirs.  They automatically assume that the published schedule will apply to them but that is not always the case.

The schedule only applies to those taxpayers who filed their tax returns early enough so that they would be PROCESSED by the IRS by the filing deadline.  That works out to e-filing by about April 4th or filing a paper return by mail by about March 10th or so.  Additionally if there is any delay in the processing of your return the rebate will be delayed.  Also, if you are claimed as a dependent then you aren't eligible at all.  Finally, if your refund is subject to capture for certain tax or non-tax debts then your rebate will be captured as well.  Unless you rebate is enough to pay off the debt completely, you won't receive anything other than a reduction of your debt.

  3. Hard to tell everybody seems to have a different idea than IRS about when theirs should arrive.

  4. Q. I filed my return on time, but I haven’t received my stimulus payment, even though the payment date listed for my Social Security number has passed. Why?

    A. In general, the payment schedule only applies if your return was received and the IRS finished processing your return before April 15. If you filed your return on time, but close to the April 15 deadline, the IRS may not have finished processing it before April 15.

Processing times for tax returns and stimulus payments vary. If you are getting a regular income-tax refund, the IRS will send you that refund first. Normally, your stimulus payment will follow one to two weeks later.

If you are not expecting a regular tax refund, your stimulus payment should arrive a minimum of six weeks after you file.

  6. I get the feeling they have slowed down and it will get here eventually.Hey maybe we can all go spend them on the forth at rate there goin lol

  7. According to the schedule, I should have been having my paper check mailed May 16th. Nothing and its June 6th now?

I paid income tax, I did not have anyone deduct preparation fees from it, naturally since i paid I didnt get a loan on the amount. My check was cashed by IRS on April 9th.

The website says no information on my SSN - the phone says the same thing. The local tax office says I have explored the avenues available.

So- now what - you just sit and wait and there is nobody that you can contact?

Oh - yes i checked my return the SSN was correct lol before someone tries to add that in as a reason.

I did use that link- it says no information is available and I also did the phone thing- same results- but they say no information is available unless your rebate is due in the next week- big help that is- and you can forget calling the IRS number they give - its too busy so it says.
