Is the Indian railway budget worth discussing?

For example a III tier airconditioned fare ticket from Chennai to Hyderabad is Rs.1674 and the railway budget discount of 3% works out to Rs.50.22 Ps. When a passenger is spending Rs.1674 on the railway ticket this 3% discount works out to Rs.50.22 makes any big sense at all to be discussed by people all over India?.

Is it Rs.50.22 Ps. a big worthy discount for the passenger?

Another gimmicks people do is to reduce in passenger fare & increase it in freight charges, etc. Is it gimmicks or real budget worth discussing in India?

Respected railway minister did a great job turning around railways. I think he is a fit case for PM post. he may do a really good job as PM. He is claiming for Bharat Ratna and claims railways performance is better than fortune 500.

That apart he is fooling all the Indians when you think about fares. Railway budget is a Joke. If we Indians spend so much of time on cricket why not railway budget, we have lot of time for non productive activities. The realty is most of the people made to travel buying Tatkal tickets almost 100% more than the fare.

Earlier English people has taken a ride on us now swadeshi taking raid on us as we are always asses to carry the burden and not to think.

But appreciate his ingenuity.

frankly speaking my friend the Indian parliment is hopeless....they behave much worse  that a class of screaming kindergarden brats....WE HAVE TO GROW UP JOIN POLITICS AND CHANGE OUR COUNTRY.

Our country is the greatest country in paper.I t is 60 years since independence and we are still buying arms from a small country Israel we claim that our IITs IIMs are producing the best stuff.What the country had received technically or scientifically. nothing. Budget of no budget we will have cockroaches,rats,stinking foul  smell at the railway stations worst food etc.nothing will change.The various unions will flourish and the railways will be ruined for ever.

The railway budget is some thing fine in the present condition .

01-offering ever so many concessions .Makes the budget appears to be populist .

02 -More interested on security measures .

03 -Providing better comforts to the passengers .

04-Reduction in the passenger fares is something not expected .

05-Every time expecting only increase in fares .

06-This reduction in fares will surely affect

Road transport .There may rush in rails .

07-The private participation will surely give a face lift for the railway .

08-Introduction of new passenger trains will make the railway user friendly .

09-Some more developments is required in the railway field for attracting more passengers in the railway .

Every leader knows that 70% people who are staying in villages are the key for their future. For them no price rise is the only thing the want by the govt.Thats what Lalu has done.So for 70% its good & for the rest ....... Ya one thing I have not considering the leaders of any party b'cos there opinion is political.
