  1. There decent guns, i myself am more of a 1 shot 1 kill woodsballer so i have no need for a high rate of fire. I have a 98 custom (mainly because it only cost me $30 off a friend) and im pleased with it, i just bought an upgraded barrel and its very accurate. As for the easy to carry around part i think the weight of the marker is way over rated, i mean if your not strong enough to carry around a 5lb marker then i doubt you could be able to handle a hit from a paintball...

anyways yea get it if you want a decent gun, but if you want it to be able to compete at a decent speedball field you would need to sink a little over $200 into upgrades.

  2. The Ion is an empty box, you have to upgrade EVERYTHING to make it usable, so i will take your list and smahs it to bitS!

    1. Affordable

No, it is not, well at first it is but you gotta buy a new bolt, asa, feed neck, barrel, grip, regulator, body, o-rings, macro line, board, eyes, detents EVERYTHING

    2.Very upgradeable

Well this is true and there is really no way to destroy that, so i guess you got one.

    3. Decent Fire Rate

Yes, but in a tournaments or even rec, that wont help you at all, you gotta upgrade your board to make it shoot faster, but if your just playing every weekend not thinking about tournaments or serious rec ball, then i guess this is good, so its a tie

    4. Easy to Carry Around

What? all paintball guns can be hoisted around, well if you mean stock, then ya everything is like that, but if you mean with upgrades, then oh no, that sucker gets heavy, maybe an extra pound or 2 give or take a little.

So after about $1000 in upgrades, its decent...ya...decent, i would seriously recommend a SLG or a PMR for beginners and Mid-level players.

Please don't waste your money, i have nothing against smart parts, thoughs are just the facts, sorry!

If you have any other questions you can PM me, i can even try to find a good gun for you, with a little more info on your playing style and such!
