Is the Ipod Touch a phone? Or just an MP3 player?

I heard it can surf the internet, is it also a phone? Or just a mp3 player with internet capabilities?

The Touch is just an mp3/4 player.  It can surf the internet with a wifi connection, so only in a hot spot or if you have a wireless router at your home.

No the iTouch is simply an mp5 player. That means it can play music, pictures, videos, and internet. If you do want the itouch to be a phone simply buy the iPhone from ATT. It has the same features but can also call people.
