It's a semi-auto AEG pistol, also known as an AEP.

It's not bad as far as AEP's go, but in the long run I think you'd be a lot more pleased with a CO2 or Green Gas P99 style pistol.

AEP's aren't very powerful, and their size often means the gear mechanisims are delicate and their motors anemic.

They're still a lot more fun than spring pistols though, even though they are less powerful. Semi-auto is just plain more fun, whether it's electric OR gas.
