Is the Kyoto accord and the Kyoto Protocol the same exact thing?

I have a debate on this tomorrow (getting prepared the night before its taking place.. go me!) and whenever I google Kyoto accord a bunch of results come up for the Kyoto Protocol.

Are they the exact same thing?

Pretty much. One refers to the band of politically spineless countries that signed the "ACCORD" while the other refers to the insane rules that steal those country's wealth by "PROTOCOL." It all happened at the Kyoto Treaty and God Bless the USA for not signing it.
