How does somone report police misconduct?Who in the US Atty office is in charge of taking complaints? It (the concent decree) looks like a farse to me since they,(LAPD) are as bad or worse than they were before rampart, for example, Last month evidence planting on video, last month Deputy Sheriffs save citizens from a shotgun wielding off duty cop gone crazy,a couple years back,an LAPD cop puts Regie the Aligator in a public lake. The worst is that they have not stoped the PATERN and PRACTICE of catch release, picking up citizens off the street on fabricated charges (never filed) denied phone calls and legal council and released 21/2 days later. Its hard to believe that a federal judge in charge of oversight of what he himself called a CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE does not listen to citizen complaints. So if the judge even exists where is he and where can a citizen issue a complaint.

  1. First off, its tremendously hard to get hired with LAPD, they do extensive screening on their candidates. Unfortunately some people pass the psychological exam and slip through the cracks, but its that way in any profession, unfortunately its something that will probably never be completely stopped. Also, The guy that put reggie in the lake was fired from LAPD years before that incident occured. Go to the link and you will find tons of info on the Consent Decree.
