Absolutely not, it doesn't handle as good, its way slower in the 1/4 mile and to top it off, its one of the ugliest cars on the road.  But, it is one of the fastest ricers on the road.  

The Lancer Evo doesn''t even come close the the actual mileage of the late big block Corvette.
