Is the Lg Vu a good phone and do you have to get the internet plan with it?

I want to know if you have to get the internet plan with the smart phone or is it an optional thing with at&t because my husband got the iphone and had to get the internet plan. Is it the same with the LG VU?

you dont need an internet plan with the lg vu...but if your going to be accessing the web alot, then it is recommended that you get it

If u want to go onto the internet u have to get a plan, it is 15 dollars a month.
