Is the M1 still a nightmare???

this friday i am travelling from rugby junction 18 to chesterfield junction 29 around 6.30ish,can i expect a unpleasant, journey?i thought it was'nt to bad til you hit the M18 turn off and Sheff,was hoping to be there for 8ish but if i'm realistic will i be there for last orders?cheers

Hi, If you are leaving Junction 18 at 6.30 and travelling north you should just about miss the worst traffic. The worst area is junction 23a-28 and by the time you get to 23a it will be 7.15 (rush hour over). The worst time on a Friday is 3p.m -6p.m
