Well I've been looking at the

MA Audio HK1998 but i keep getting mixed answers on it.

Every time i look at the specs it tells me that its a 1 ohm 1 ch amp but then on the same page is says its a 2ohm stereo stable 2 ch amp. Now what one is it? Also it says it is class D but then again it says its a class AB

So basically what I'm looking for is a class D one channel amp and idk what this one is that i am looking at

So can any one that has this amp tell me?

  1. The HK1998 is a mono block, the HK898 is the 2 channel

The HK1998 is around 750 watts rms @ 2 ohm

and I wouldn't recommend going below 2 ohm with this model.

And it is a class A/B not a class D amplifier

MA audio makes a Class  X which is there version of the class D , they work exceptionally well.

    good luck.
