Is the MAC11 a decent pistol?

not on full auto but semi automatic, can it be a decent pistol shooter?

The semi auto reproductions aren't really that great.

They jam a lot and aren't really accurate or comfortable to handle.

Look at the Glock 17 and Glock 19 or if you like 1911's check out the many manufactuers who make those.

There's a reason you don't see Mac 11's in pistol competitions.

That depends upon your criteria of decent.  Accurate, easy to clean, easy to shoot, easy to maintain?  i don't think so.

that is why i built a 1911.  Parts anywhere, easy to clean, and shoots 2inch groups at 50 yards.
