Is the Madeleine McCann reward money still available?

The reward that the News of the World, the Sun, JK Rowling etc etc contributed to.

Millions for information.

I've never heard the parents mention it, and never heard them make any specific appeals regarding this huge reward.

Is it still available?

I wonder why it's never been claimed.

If the reward money is still available then if I find a decomposed body am I still eligible for a reward 'cos Madeleine has been worm food for some time.

As far as I know the reward money is still available, but I have NEVER heard the McCanns or their spokesman Clarence Mitchell mention it in any TV reports or press articles. This makes me wonder whether they already know that she will never be found alive.

Yes it's still available because it's meantioned in all of the posters you see and it hasn't been claimed because no-one has found her.

I have been wondering about this for months, and I don't think it ever gets mentioned not even on television appeals or in the news papers, so no I don't no if their is still a reward. you may find some information on this site.

Hi Delly, well I could be wrong but I always thought that the 'reward' money, turned into the 'finding fund' ? I have never seen the posters either.. nor heard much about the 'reward' apart from in the first few days..?? ..that's why i thought it had all kinda merged!!

It can't be claimed, Dellyxx, because Madeleine is still missing...not yet found. Only a person who gives information that will find her, will get it. She isn't found yet bcos no one has come forward with the right information.

Errrm the reason its never been claimed is because someone is yet to provide evidence that she is still alive. God bless her, i pray that one day she is found x
