Is the Mafia in NYC still making big money?

i know in the 70's, 80's, and 90's the mafia was making big money and under gotti they were making $500 million annually. but today are they really strong or making much money? the boss and underboss and even capos today might be making lots but are the soldiers and associates making enough money to live a good life or are they struggling to pay the bills and living in a small house

No don't let anyone fool you.I know for a fact that they are just as wealthy and just as powerful as they ever were.You just don't hear about it a lot in the press anymore because the bosses now like to keep it in private unlike when Gotti was running the show.He loved the public attention.

They are still VERY powerful and VERY dangerous.I've never been in the mob but I know how everyting works and you have to trust me.They are doing just fine for themselves and they run everything down in the city.
